Sometimes your pottery doesn't turn out quite as expected. Sometimes it's uncontrollable, other times it's because you were being a buffoon.
These mugs developed cracks in the base that would have made them unsafe to drink out of, so I drilled some drainage holes and now they're planters! Yay for repurposing. They were too pretty to send to the pottery graveyard.

100% handmade. Wheel thrown with black stoneware and painted with underglaze. Decorated with gold luster overglazes.
